One of the days, I took 2 big plastic bags and went to the children’s room and put into them either things to throw away or things to give away. I came up with 4 bags of things to give away and 1 big bag of trash to throw. Hubby said I’m in the throwing/giving mood. He was feeling the stresszzz….because he knew he would not be able to escape. Hee hee hee…
A friend commented that my house is messy. You are right. I didn’t do much for the past few months and it’s not a bad idea to take this opportunity to spring clean the home. Things are in their proper places and I feel better too. Not sure about my stressed hubby though…
I should also be thankful that it’s at this festive season that I’m on this new round of drugs as they contain steroids. Now you know why I’m high. Feels good with all that energy so I can swiftly shift, stash, sweep and trash whatever that comes my way…er…except for the children and hubby lah. These are blessings that I must learn to hug and kiss even though I am buried in a pile of debris. With this, hopefully they’ll feel less stressed or perhaps better able to cope with the stressor?!
Now I also know why people are addicted to drugs. It feels good. It is dangerous especially when the body is so accustomed to it. I’m really thankful this is not long term. I’m A OK today after my second chemo session today. I had a couple of hours of retail therapy following that. It’s VERY effective. I’m 1/6 done. (Good time to teach fractions.) I’ve got 10 more weeks to go!! Count down with me 🙂
Ephesians 5:18-19
…be filled with the Spirit. Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord…
I pray to be high in the Spirit. High in praising the Lord. Highhhh…ahhhh…plink!!! Oops…sorry….
Staying High in Jesus,
